I find The 4th Place a very safe and friendly space that I trust, even as a younger girl (which can be quite hard to find)! It's where I meet up with my friends all the time as a local hotspot that we all adore. The Magic events are a time where I can bond with the community and my dad in a way that's hard to find anywhere else. Ian, the owner, along with the other staff, have really motivated me to play Magic without worrying about my skill level. Thanks guys! :D

been here twice while visiting vt across 2 different years and both times the employees on staff have been incredibly welcoming, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do, especially when it comes to the ttrpg and comic books. for me personally, i would love to see the manga section expanded upon as it is why i went but i also understand that that the focus of the store lies more on trrpg/comics/tcgs which is completely understandable! excellent business, highly recommend!!

The Fourth Place is just what its name suggests, a cozy, yet otherworldly, welcoming home away from home. It is a store with an amazing array of products and a place to hang out with people you enjoy, share a meal, and play a game or three. Staff are welcoming to all visitors, new or known, and a feeling of belonging is cultivated. The Fourth Place is more than a store, it is a space to connect with and create community while finding, and maybe trying, that new game, comic, or accessory you didn’t know was missing from your life.

Stopped in during a vacation from out of state, and this is an incredible shop. Super friendly and helpful staff, a ton of selection thats easy to access, and a lot of play space. Would absolutely make this place my go-to if I were local!

I have never been to a game store so welcoming! The owner was wonderful. We just stopped in since we are out of town, and we were greeted with such kindness and excitement. The store has so many fun things and a wonderful mission. I left wishing there would be one near my own home! Also, their Pokemon cards are not scalper prices, I appreciate that so much :)
